As many have already pointed out, the Italian Navy contains the emblems of the four maritime republics. The same logo is used by the commercial and civilian fleet, albeit with one minor difference: the Venetian lion of St. Mark is represented with an open book (with the Latin inscription ‘*pax tibi marce evangelista meus*’ – a message of peace) in the case of the commercial and civilian fleet, whereas the Navy displays the same Lion with a paw resting on the closed book.

Iceland does not have any military and definitely no navy. That’s the emblem of the Icelandic coastguard.
In Greece we have the spear of Poseidon but also the cross of Jesus… Priorities..
I like our mixture of Christianity and pagan Dodekatheism there
