75% of Brits I’m not a fan of Megan which I suppose you could say isn’t surprising at all um and know no no no it’s uh I mean the poll is encouraging for the monarchy it shows support at roughly 60% and support for Republic under 30 there are those who look back at some of the polls uh before the monchy had tough times in the days of Queen Elizabeth and would say that uh polls in favor of the Moni were far greater then but this is very important because obviously we are in Fairly New Territory this is a sensitive time for the royal family deeply sensitive with two of its most senior members seriously ill and there’s no question that every effort has been made so far as King Charles is concerned to keep in touch with the public as head of state and make it known what he’s able to do and we saw last week very happily that he was able to do a great deal more and we hope that that continues so far as Megan’s concerned it makes it absolutely clear um that this is not reading which uh is going to please the sussexes uh as I see it here the poll has her a 25% that is not particularly uh that is putting it mildly terrible yeah he’s got 31% the point he may be slightly up but the point is that the sussexes have been at in the most Dreadful um state in the polls here for a very long time in fact it’s been quite extraordinary because they recently appointed someone for communications with UK and Europe now I mean that should have happened ages ago but it wouldn’t probably have made a great deal of they haven’t greatly cared what people in Britain think of them not to mention the press and they have a hostile press because they excoriate the Press when they married the Press universally were favorable to them so of course it shows a SZ a very low web and it shows that Megan is very wise to let Harry attend the services and polls um which is coming up on uh Wednesday by himself so do you think that Megan is I mean you’d be should be naive to say that she wasn’t aware of the dislike towards her do you think the knowledge that she may have of that whether that be the Paul result or just the generic over the years and obviously the slamming she’s done of the Royal Family do you think the dislike towards her and her knowledge of it is that why she’s not joining Harry in the UK on Wednesday oh yes I think there’s absolutely no doubt that they realize that um Harry realizes that he had make a little popular in Britain I mean there’s absolutely no question the reason is because since they stepped down the senior working Royals they’ve conducted a sort of Guerilla war against the royal family particularly were thinking of the interview on o and we’re also thinking of Harry’s Memoir spare the interviews around it and the documentary Harry and Megan on Netflix not to mention numerous other interviews that they’ve given indeed I would link the fact that the monarchy is not popular among 18 to 24 year olds and the fact that the only age group that I’ve seen in other polls of su is are popular is the 18 to 24 year old group it’s it’s unquestionably linked the monar has had a difficult time I mean at the moment it’s deeply a deeply sensitive period because obviously King Charles and the Princess of Wales are seriously ill but before then with the problems than the Deep Rift the public nature of the rift with the Sussex is and also Andrew’s disgrace and various aspects of that because we keep be reminded of itop the film was uh the most recent reminder yes so you you’ve got the monarchy has had problems but also you have the tremendous benefit of having an institution and we commemorate a day sorry we commemorate a year from the coronation today uh which is absolutely unique 160 countries were represented at the coronation it was a triumphal uh signal of British soft power and it was well worth doing even though it was costly and even though we’re the last country in Europe to do it we mix the spiritual and the ceremonial extremely well and the fact King Charles will be very pleased that his rating has improved and also Queen Camila I mean she she’s his Rock she’s been indispensable deputizing for him in this period and also conducting her own engagements do you think Megan’s bringing Harry down in terms of like his um how the public view him I think both no the stives are unpopular on both sides of the Atlantic in opinion polls they used to be very popular in the United States they were when they were senior working Royals very popular in Britain facts of the matter are simply because that if you behave badly if you monetize the royal family for gain on the one hand and then on the other hand you trash it which is what they’ve been doing uh you become unpopular people see through it definitely and because of everything that they’ve done and the amount of trash towards the firm are you shocked by Harry score in particular I’m not surprised it’s uh not been good for a long time uh what you do see in the poll which you expect for example someone like princess an has a very high score the public like her No Nonsense way of handling events and they also like uh the fact that she’s clearly dedicated to duty and like you said the susex is they’re like a Joint Force they’ve both sort of attacked the family why do you think that Harry’s score in the Paul is still higher than Megan’s is it just because he has that blood link well apparently according to the poll um Harry is up four so basically he was 27% previously and she was 25 and she’s still 25 so I mean they’re both very low I I think possibly the reason that he may have gone up a bit was the fact that undoubtedly he was very concerned when he heard his father had cancer and flew over instantly and saw him for something like it said half an hour or there about perhaps that made a difference I mean the facts are that when on Wednesday he goes to a service at St Paul for Invictus Invictus is his creation it’s a wonderful thing for wounded service men and women and it’s highly impressive and that is the reason uh possibly that I mean people have obviously people remember aspects of Harry’s life before he married uh and also of course uh he did in with invict and sent the charity in lutu and also wellchild um he had several a lot of charitable patronages and links before he married and we look forward to seeing what his new series for polo is going to be for Netflix but it is an elitist Sport and I would be surprised if he got huge audiences for it

A ROYAL expert has revealed Meghan Markle’s popularity is in the gutter because of her “monetising” of royals.

The Duchess of Sussex popularity took a significant hit with a new poll unveiling she’s not that popular among Brits.

The Ipsos poll, marking the first anniversary of King Charles’ Coronation, showed a whopping 75 percent percent of Brits are not fans of Meghan.

Prince Harry has also been hit by the results, languishing near the bottom of the popularity table with only 31 per cent approval rating.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams dubbed Meghan’s popularity as “absolutely terrible”.

He told The Sun Online: “She is the only member of the royal family that has actually gone down.”

Mr Fitzwilliams blames much of Meghan and Harry’s popularity woes to their post-royal public life.

He slammed the couple for “capitalising” on their royal connections.

The expert added: “The problem is that when the Sussexes ceased to be senior working Royals, they started attacking the royal family and monetised their royal connections.

“That seems to me to be so destructive. They should have had more publicity conscious decisions a great deal earlier.”

But the poll also shows that couple seems to resonate more with younger generations – with Meghan boasting 42 percent among 18 to 34 years-olds.

However, the expert is convinced the overall sentiment remains negative.

He added: “Obviously, there was support during the period of the Oprah interview and Meghan is an American. 

“But I think that people’s eyes have been open to the fact that they exploit the connection they have with the Crown and yet they also attack the Monarchy.

“If they weren’t royals, I don’t think there would be any specific interest in them.”

He claims the consequences of these actions are evident after Meghan’s decision not to attend Harry’s upcoming service at St Paul’s Cathedral to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The royal commentator said: “Harry is very wise not to bring Meghan to the Invictus Games’ anniversary because it just simply wouldn’t work.”
