  1. Dear Fellas. I can’t believe how fast things move on the outside. I saw a €7 pint once when I was a kid, but now they’re everywhere

  2. I swear, when a political party starts campaigning to reform the criminal justice system, to hand down proper sentences, end this multi hundred conviction bullshit, well they will have my vote. How come no party has this giant issue on their agenda?

  3. Can you imagine being that Garda?

Walking the beat, probably pissed off with things. Spots this known criminal – calls for backup, doesnt panic, keeps tabs until the Fleet arrives. Form a cordon. Move in. Nabbed. Fucking text-book. Massive career-enhancement. A celebrating squad room. Mentioned in Dispatches. What a night for that young gun.

  4. Its sounds like the Gardaí were tracking him enter the country rather than his mistake being to go to temple bar.

Are the Gardaí doing the same as the German police and abusing the covid tracker system to locate people?

  5. So yer man was brought to court, legged it from there, and he just got away???

Cause it says he escaped from the CCJ, and surely people aren’t held there are they?

  6. We need mandatory sentences.

5 years after the 5th conviction.

6 years after the 6th conviction.

7 years after the 7th conviction.

    … and so on.

  7. American TLDR: The lockdown is over for the citizens of Ireland but this criminal thought he’d also experience some of that freedom, little did he know the police have eyes everywhere.

  8. Sentences should increase so this doesn’t happen. Maybe on 6th offence, 5 year minimum jail sentence and 10 years for the 10th and so on. If they keep offending, at least make them take a few years off now and then.
