Get your phone camera out, turn on long exposure, point north and stay still.
It has to be dark too
At most I only saw a white mist like area. After I drove a mile down the road to where there were no steet lights right next to me.
Didn’t even realise there was colour in the pic until I got back home and looked at the image.

This is what I got on my camera without night mode. The sky had a very faint pink fog tinge to it.
i used night mode on my phone and it worked slightly better, but i didnt get any photos before midnight
It’s still there, give your eyes a chance to adjust to the dark, it looks long white and whispy where I am with the barest hint of green once your eyes adjust.
