Heard there was gonna be some solar flares which would cause this. I’m really annoyed I missed it.
I was driving through brecon on the way back to work and didn’t see them. Got in my car at work and bang…. Saw them but loads of light pollution. Got some amazing snaps on my phone though!

Sodding hell, they were everywhere, right overhead. I’ve seen them in Iceland before and they weren’t like this…greens and reds and even purple! Must have been one hell of a flare from the Sun.
Too light where I am in Cardiff. Could almost make out something if I squinted but probably just kidding myself.
Got a faint colour with my Pixel 6 on a tripod in Astro mode, not bad for near the center of Swansea with loads of light pollution. If it’s around tomorrow night, might go down Gower and see what’s what
Aurora borealis, at this time of year, at this time of day localised entirely within your kitchen?
