1. Yeah he would have been awful in that for the very reasons he’s fantastic in everything else.

   I’m 100% strapped in for Dark Matter so far.

3. Pratt had the recent Parks and Rec goofiness (he’s way more serious in roles now) but Edgerton would have only worked if Guardians was a serious franchise.

4. You mean Joel didn’t just wander on set with a Mountain Dew, did finger guns, and just went on to be a loud dick for several movies?

5. yeah Joel has too much gravitas for that role, which is exactly why he will always be more compelling than Chris Pratt in…anything

6. Good actor, but indeed, generally in serious roles. Daisy and Gatsby would agree that he is not a space driver.

7. For me, Pratt as Star-Lord is one of those castings that’s up there with Reynolds as Deadpool and RDJ as Iron Man where he both embodies and reshapes the role to his own. I don’t like Pratt in a lot of things but his Star-Lord is pretty much untouchable.

8. I might not have hated Glen Howerton as StarLord tho.

9. I would love to see him flex his comedic chops on SNL.

10. I just hate that Glenn Howerton lost this opportunity.
