  1. Maybe the extra pesticides will kill off the algae from all the chicken shit run off that’s already killing our rivers?

  2. We have the tech ology for far more efficient vertical stack hydroponic farming.

    Very much need to focus into that, not upping the chemical arsenal on our living environment.

  3. It doesn’t matter what the regulations say as we have failed to fund regulators to enforce them in any meaningful way.

  4. Farmers started campaigning for the EU ban on Asulam sodium to be removed withing days of the Brexit result. The herbicide is known to have some long term side affects to humans and animals, it accumulates in the body and was rightfully banned. 
    But hey, we gotta do something to help replace the money lost from the removal of EU farming subsidies, don’t we?

    When you consider that farmers were secretly moving their sheep around the country during the foot and mouth crisis of 2001 because the tax payer funded compensation was more than the value of the sheep, you know you’re not dealing with the average sort of person with average morals.
