Charles COULD have made time to see Harry, he just didn’t want to – the anger & hurt is still there

you can’t do what he did and just Breeze in and out when it suits you Prince Harry is in London but he won’t meet his father the king the Duke of Sussex arrived from La alone without Megan or their children for a busy Diary of events marking 10 years of his Invictus games before setting off in California it is understood Harry was said to have been Keen to see the king for only the second time since his cancer diagnosis it is rather telling that confirmation there will be no meeting has come from the office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rather than Buckingham Palace Harry’s teams say it unfortunately will not be possible due to his Majesty’s full program they add the jke is of course understanding of his father’s Diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon now the word that jumps out is priorities the king we understand is busy as he returns the public duty for instance today on Tuesday while Harry was in London the King was carrying out his constitutional Duty and meeting the prime minister of Fiji at Buckingham Palace the king is also set to host a palace garden party and weekly audience with the Prime Minister on Wednesday and Harry’s diary is packed for full 3 days with his Invictus games however they will be at times just two miles apart and risk even driving past each other on London’s roads some observers may see this as sad that Father and Son cannot find time for each other Others May say that it’s understandable as both have work commitments and in Harry’s words priorities but maybe there has just been two too much water under the bridge for father and son to play happy families amid such huge public attention I don’t think anybody uh is surprised at what’s happened there because Harry’s been pretty scathing about the RO family especially about Queen Camila who uh is there supporting the king every single day in his work uh and of course his brother which the damage there seems irreparable I don’t know if it would ever be solved so it’s it’s not exactly um the darling Harry the darling my darling son Harry used to call the King used to call his youngest son he’s in fact in uh in many ways I think they sooner he didn’t come here unless he unless he comes for good and and decides to work for the RO family I mean he’s had a a Wonderful Life a a magnificent education his Royal role has given him great privilege and great access to things that a normal person wouldn’t be able to get and you know in spite of all that he decided to live in America and I understand that’s your choice but not to go live in America and then rubbish your family and that’s uh that’s just not on and the fact is I’m sure the king could have seen him I mean after he’s at a garden party this week I’m sure Harry could have turned up there if he if he wanted to and I’m sure that um that would could be time for I know if it was my son coming I’d find time to see him and and that would be a normal thing for a family to do but obviously this is not over yet this anger towards Harry and that book and that interview in way which you know his his wife Megan intimated that the royal family was racist and uh you know took a statement from from from Prince Wales to say this family is not racist and I don’t believe it is either but um that was left a lot of people felt that was bad and it was nasty and some people maybe thought it was a good idea to do those things but no one here no one who who loves that Ro family who respects our Roy family and the hardworking Roy family going through very difficult times at the moment I mean where was Harry when the King was getting treatment for cancer it’s a great Triumph that the king is back at work now and and and back to the grindstone for him which is going to be long long hard days and and obviously you know his time’s packed there’s so many things to catch up on but I’m sure if he wanted to he could have found time to see Harry obviously doesn’t want to and Harry seems to have accepted it he seems to accept the fact that he respects the king’s diary that he’s full well you know fair enough but Harry’s going off to Nigeria next week and Megan will be joining there it’s Such a Pity she can’t join him here occasionally although I suspect she realizes that she’s probably of all the members of royal family it’s probably the got the lowest approval rating for the uh damage she’s done by many of these interviews and um and of course Harry’s book for me it’s a shame because Harry as you probably know I had a lot of time for Harry I thought he was one of the the most fabulous people to work with I can’t tell you he was just joy to work with but sadly he’s turned his back on all that and now it’s just a question of he pops in and out when it suits him well it probably suits him but it doesn’t suit the king so I’m sorry Harry not this time maybe next time I think Harry has to um realize that you can’t do what he did and just Breeze in and out when it suits you you can’t just do say damaging things about your brother stupid things like we had a fight you know I mean who cares I mean every every brother’s have fight fight with my brother you know it just happens it’s just normal and make that a big story and a big event or not remember where he was when the queen mother died but it does remember great detail about how he dislikes his brother and uh and our uh Queen Camila uh tips a press off I mean how ridiculous is that and yet you know he can’t just walk in and out when it suits him and not now maybe there’s always a time when he can return when he wants to return When perhaps he wants to contribute something to our country without getting paid for it do something like he used to do like he visit hospitals with children and very sick children where he was he was just fantastic with them I can’t tell you this just by his presence used to bring Smiles on their faces of all these very unwell kids and yet he uh doesn’t want to do that anymore so uh he prefers the life in Los Angeles alth I don’t know what he does all day I mean it’s h he must be pretty bored a lot of the time but you know one of the big things the problem is that they’ve got two children that are a prince and a princess and that they don’t come and see their cousins and they’ll find that strange as well so not only Harry gets short shrift from the King I’m sure the children wouldn’t if they came I’m sure he’d be grateful to see his grandchildren but it hasn’t happened and uh that’s a shame well you know there’s a bad blood there you know and I think um I mean William is pretty still angry about it I I I uh you know this that’s the saddest of all you know because you know those two were inseparable I mean they did everything together they were just Inseparable after their mother died they had each other they comforted each other they cried with each other they they but and then they did everything together they skied together they they did everything together they um joined the Royal Air Force together they did air Air Flight Training together and uh you know William because of his rank in the royal family couldn’t go to war but Harry did and he and he was and he was a great hero you know and he was he was he did his service and for that we mustn’t forget but you know you can soon forget the good things when you get nasty things said about about the roal family and uh I think that still probably hurts with a few of them I think certainly with William probably with with Camila although Camila is very forgiving but um and I think the king look I know I know however busy you are you’ve always got time for your children and nothing in my view is more important than family and perhaps Harry should remember that sometimes we need to do better connection in terms of a solution and in particular of commun Comm

PRINCE Harry won’t meet King Charles on his whistle-stop UK trip due to the monarch’s “full programme” – but says he “hopes to see him soon”.

A spokesperson for Harry has responded to “speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week”.

They said: “It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.

“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

The prince has jetted all the way from California for a service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games.

He was said to be “in good spirits” during the summit, according to other guests.

He made a 10-minute speech to around 100 people inside the historic Armoury House.

Colombian powerlifter Victor Vera, 37, told the Sun: “He seemed to be very happy to be there.

“There was no talk about King Charles or the royals. He kept it strictly about the games which is what everyone was here for really.

“He was in good spirits – it was a light-hearted event”.

Harry and Charles last reunited at Clarence House in February for their first face-to-face meeting in 16 months.

The prince flew to the UK alone without Meghan or their children Archie and Lilibet.

But Meghan will join Harry on his visit to Nigeria later this week, it’s understood.

It’s understood Harry will not see his brother Prince William – but had been “keen” to see his dad while visiting.

Charles, 75, resumed public duties last week for the first time since beginning cancer treatment.

He is now expected to attend the year’s first Buckingham Palace garden party.

William has been stung by his brother’s attacks and has not spoken to Harry since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

Harry launched the Invictus Games in 2014 as a sports contest for injured military veterans.

At the gathering today he paid tribute to competitors’ “commitment, enthusiasm and belief”.

In the programme for the summit, he writes: “It has been an honour to watch the Invictus Games Foundation grow over the years.

“It began as a vision to pay tribute to the courage and resilience of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans.

“It has now flourished into an international organisation built on hope, strength, and unity.”

It comes as Wills is today set to award the mum of one of Harry’s pals an MBE.

Henry van Straubenzee died in a car crash in 2002 – he had been the duke’s best pal at school.

Wills is now set to today honour Claire van Straubenzee at Windsor Castle in recognition of services to children’s education in Uganda.

Henry, known as Henners, was killed in a car crash near Ludgrove Prep school in Berkshire, where he was working during his gap year.

Prince Harry wrote affectionately of Henry in his memoir Spare.

  1. Harry could have been at the garden party? What utter rubbish. People have earned the right to be there. No place at all for the treacherous rogue. The garden party is not an occasion for celebrities (minor or otherwise) and Harry is nothing more than that now – his choice.

  2. As a Royal Correspondent commented, Harry is in the UK for Netflix, and the Invictus Games, the King doesn't want misinformation to be spread on a Netflix about a Royal chat. Plus there should be no way that Harry can suggest to the Nigerian officials that he has a message from the King. 😮 This Royal situation gets nastier and nastier.

  8. This rift was not the RF’s making. Meghan had an agenda to take over. Harry was like a puppy to her Sit Rollover Stay. When she was told she would not be Queen plus the issue of surrogacy the duo spat the dummy believing they could become American royalty

  18. We have all had disagreements in families some rather harsh, we don't run and tell the neighbours and spew about it to all and sundry NO WAY. HARRY AND HIS HARLOT HAVE DONE JUST THAT TO THE ROYAL FAMILY TO THE WORLD WIDE MEDIA. How can they The Royal family ever forgive? Think about it!!

  20. How many times are the media going to speculate about whether H is going to meet and reconcile with his father or William each time he comes to the UK? Most families have at least one toxic member whom it is best to cut ties with for your own well-being. William wants to protect his own family from the toxic Sussexes and so he should. Charles has gone through a lot too and the last thing he needs is his toxic son to cause him grief again. It's as simple as that. Don't forget that the Sussexes can't be trusted and any interaction with the Royals would lead them to sell their stories – and lies. It's much better to cut ties with them for good.

As experts you keep saying Harry says, but how do you know that Charles did say yes to the visit as long as Camilla or someone in the room and Harry refused. Harry has PR blowing all this smoke, they can say what they want, you guys all know the monarchy will never complain or explain. I am grateful the Nigerian staff stated this visit was non royal.

  36. Harry didn’t come to see Charles… his camps never said that. The media keeps on saying that, if they ever wanted to talk it should be private, no media should get involved. Plus Charles always being that type of father, he never loved them, never cared… Remember, Camilla runs the show now, Harry knows that. Who do you think is spreading lies about Kate to the press???   37. Meghan Markle wanted to be the most famous woman in the world and she is… but she's now famous for all the wrong reasons and she is ONE of the most hated people in the world. Some People still like Harry and feel he's under her influence but her, NO way! She is out!! They blame her for most of this.

  38. Stress can cause cancer. It's one of the #1 reasons that causes it. I cannot imagine the stress Catherine and the King have been under because of all the games Harry and Meghan have been playing, the book etc., there is sooo much pain between all those people it was bound to come out in an illness. I just can't imagine what that family has gone through when a very beloved member of your family betrays you like that for some chump change. No amount of money in the world should make people air their dirty laundry and talk poorly of their family. Harry is an A1 fool to no end. When Markle divorces him, which she will probably, (waiting for the 10 year mark for the California Divorce rule) …OMG. Im just waiting for the Sensational divorce and her book, which I will not read. Did not or will never read spare or HOLD a copy of that filth ever.

  41. Charles is a poor King and a failure as a father! Charles wrote a book about his father and mother which wasn’t that nice! The Spare was a truthful and honest book!
