Dashcam footage captures tornado destroying Nebraska building

Dashcam footage captured the moment a tornado tore through a building in Lincoln, Nebraska, in late April.

The state was hit by more than a dozen tornadoes that destroyed hundreds of homes and businesses, according to the National Weather Service. The building in the video, which belonged to Garner Industries, was bit by a tornado with wind speeds of 158mph.

  1. Wind speeds of almost 160 mph.
    Terrifying the way the steady increase in wind speed just systematically demolishes the building. And a moment later it's a light breeze again.

  2. Must have been very close to the eye of the huricane as the rain on the windscreen was travelling from right to left but the nearby building has being hit from the left.

  3. it doesn't capture it as the view is obscured by flying debris, one moment the building is there then the next it's gone
