Flick may have learned from his mistakes at the DFB and with us.
What coaches we have approached officially rejected us so far?
– Xabi
– Nagelsmann
– Rangnick
The rest is probably invented by the media.
We also need to talk about how our players always end up injured or on pain killers during the crucial games at the end of the season? Even against Real in the second leg, from the beginning our squad looked drained while Real looked energised despite us having almost the same lineup as last week. This has been the trend for some time now, when we reach the latter stages of the competition, our players start getting injured or have to take pain killers to play.
When we won the UCL in 2020, one of the deciding factors was that we had most of our players fit with a bench of players who can actually change the game once they come on. I hope this issue also deserves attention in the future.
r/soccer is so biased it’s annoying sometimes. Are there other good subs?
Can this season just end
I am still in awe at the auroras. Absolutely insane.
How much involved was Flick in the discovery and promotion of Musiala?

This guy deserves some credit actually
If you could decide between Pep, Klopp and Xabi Alsonso as our next coach, who would you pick?
I personally would go for Pep as I like his football the most.
From September last year:

For what its worth, Jamal was very sad when Flick got dismissed as NT coach.
He seemed to really like Hansi, thanks him for initially “pushing him at FCB, his debut with him, and getting great feedback on what to improve” in his early days.
So much for Flick having no impact on young talents like Jamal… Bambi even says the opposite himself in interviews. Id say odds of retaining/extending Jamal will be great with Hansi back.
I think all of us think that we need an amazing transfer window to be back at the top. But i have been disappointed so many times including last window that i don’t know what to expect. How likelt it’s that we will have a big transfer window and fix a at least most of the problems in the squad in your opinon?
(by good transfer window i mean at least a dm, lb, winger, propaby a cb, maybe some young talents, another cm would be great)
We are playing tomorrow?? My Saturday is ruined.
I miss the days when everytime match started 15.30 at the last two matchdays.
Any news about a potential Gerland return? No disrespect to Klose, but I would be more confident about a Flick return if they bring in an assistant manager with more tactical expertise
What should our back 4 be next season.
De Ligt is probably set as the starter. ‘LB’ can be Theo if he comes, Davies if he stays, Rapha and Maz as backups. Currently Dier is the best pairing with De Ligt, but if Kim or Upa are able to get their form back, maybe one of them?
And ‘RB’ could be Kimmich or Stanisic if Kimmich is needed in midfield. Personally prefer a more defensive RB as the LB could attack more.
What do you guys think
I wonder, will our banter era be more like Juve or Man Utd?
If Kimmich stays next year.
Kimmich De Ligt Van Dijk Theo would be ridiculous
I love Dier but not sure how he fits a system that’s similar to Ange with flick.
I don’t think Van Diijk is unrealistic we could do a esp with Upa

I still can’t believe how did we lost the game… In the 1st leg we wasted many chances and gifted 2 goals out of nowhere and same story again in 2nd leg 💔
Bayern have secured a buy-back clause worth around €35m and valid from June 2026 for Malik Tillman [@FabrizioRomano]
Surely we could’ve negotiated something lower? Lol
For all people who are scared Flick will play Kimmich – Goretzka on double pivot like some stubborn idiot, I would like to remind you all that Flick basically played Thiago – Kimmich in midfield everytime he could. After Thiago left playing Kimmich – Goretzka was the best option, since Roca was not that good and Tolisso was almost always injured and also back then he was just performing worse than Leon.
Posted this below. What are some wingers Bayern would target this summer?
I’m thinking of going to super cup if Bayern v Leverkusen does anyone know how they decide where they play last year we played Allianz arena but other years mostly away ?
This year’s been so shitty so here’s a jinx…
What I wish for the rest of 2024:
Dortmund wins CL and gives Reus a fitting goodbye.
Leverkusen starts to loose in August like the rest of us.
Stani gets a proper and honest year to play for us.
We will take the Pokal seriously and start the best players even if we play against third or fourth tier opposition.
The new CL format sucks ass. I know I’m starting getting old and against new ideas, but man I hope it will bomb. There are so many other ways to improve the CL than this stupidity!
Oh and Germany winning the Euros so we can get some ‘winnermentalität’ back!
>Thomas Tuchel: “All 4 attacking players who started against Real Madrid cannot play tomorrow. Harry still has a back problem. Serge is injured and it’ll be very tight for the Euros. As for Leroy, I don’t think we’ll see him on the pitch in the next two games, he’s being treated. Jamal has been carrying knee pain since the Arsenal game, he won’t play tomorrow and probably next week too”
I love random wacky lineups, hoping for a Zaragoza start tomorrow.

Sane here passes to Musiala and nobody today would even dare to speak against Flick’s return.
Wanner will now show the fraud Can Uzun who the greater no. 10 talent is.
Today’s press conference was really refreshing. Great questions from the reporters and also pretty insightful answers from Tuchel.
Flicks second season with us. Before people hail praise on him. We were dropping so many points in the league.

Goals Against with a younger Neuer and a better team suited to press and with Davies we still allowed 44 Goals.
Fabregas carried Como from Serie D to Serie A since 2019 to 2024.
A pretty solid run!
> Tuchel on the style of football ‘possession vs counterattacking football’: “The fact is that teams like Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in the league are defined by the quality of their ball possession. It’s difficult to win the ball there. Liverpool also have a lot of possession, but they also come through counter-pressing. It’s too complex to say that you win titles with counter-attacks. It’s the art of mastering everything. Real Madrid have made the competition (Champions League) their own to a certain extent. You can’t define Champions League success in terms of possession. I don’t know whether Bayern have always defined themselves by a style, but by the result. When I was young, what I knew is that Bayern always wins in the end”
this is obviously a take from the “way too early” category, but the tillman transfer gives me terrible vibes for the transfer window
am i the only one seeing this as a sign that the “rebuild” wont be anywhere near what some people (including me) think it should be?
i am mentally preparing to see our whole underperforming and overpaid winger group return next season
since freund and eberl arrived we have heard all the talk about academy guys, now we finally have a player, who has developed very well on two loans (not a fan of endless loans, but this worked), he plays a position of MAJOR need for us…….aaaaand we sell him for peanuts
we all know the prices in this market and we dont even take a chance on a player, who is already ours and clearly good enough for the dutch champions?
as i said above transfer window talk is extremely early in mid may, but this is a TERRIBLE decision and the way the club handles youth players is a joke
