Djokovic wears bike helmet after water bottle incident

World number one Novak Djokovic arrived to the Italian Open sporting a new accessory and a big grin on Saturday.

The 24-times Grand Slam champion turned up wearing a bike helmet, making light of an incident on Friday where he was struck in the head by a water bottle following his second-round win against France’s Corentin Moutet.

The Serbian was signing autographs after his easy 6-3 6-1 victory against the lucky loser when he was hit in the head by the bottle and he immediately clutched his head as fell to his knees.
