BREAKING: Russia Goes ALL IN on Kharkiv Offensive!

the Russian attack north of harke continues and Kev is pouring reinforcements into the area but what is Russia’s objective what do they say they’ve achieved so far and what are the prospects for Russia’s ultimate goal of seizing harke I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s talk about it so taking a look at the control map you can see there’s two areas that have been listed as uh contested you could see this is as of two days ago right early morning of the 10th uh you saw Russian forces drive across this front here near stka PNA and biva and then you’ve also got them pushing here near banka now you can see in the last maybe 24 hours uh they’ve made some other gains right advancing down the leet River here uh towards lukanski and Karas and while these are not necessarily uh major Villages or or significant urban areas and as we’ve talked about this cluster of villages could serve as a foothold but it’s got kind of a deeper constraint right because lepy is a is only connected really through this one roadway here other than that it’s going to be Russian forces crossing a lot of open ground so for Ukraine I strong ly suspect you’re going to see them kind of withdraw from this cluster of villages and set up here in a what ends up being just kind of a uh fire support area that is really set up to punish Russian forces that try to drive into this region I think you’re going to see something similar occurring here near plena now the big issue that I think should most worry Ukraine is if indeed Russian forces have crossed the donets and if they’re across the detet it means that this natural barrier that the dinets forms that would otherwise keep these two attacks from being mutually reinforcing uh isn’t going to serve that function because otherwise you see how Russia could execute a sort of pincer maneuver uh or an envelopment something that is pretty doctrinally fundamental to how they operate but only if they can operate across the detet river and conduct a sustained River Crossing or more likely own both sides of the of the river um but you could see they’re going to have to actually own a lot of it because there’s not really a easy crossing point so they’re going to have to own some sort of bridge here that lets them cross the detet uh that Ukraine can’t take out and as you’ve seen in uh the Ukrainian effort to conduct similar operations this is in the South near haran uh it’s very very difficult uh it really impossible in this war to maintain a fixed bridge location and as we’ve talked about right this efforts to hold places like kinki uh Ukraine has sort of sustained this effort um but it hasn’t really returned any gains it basically Ukraine has stuck a bridge head here in order to tie up these Russian units to keep them from deploying Elsewhere on the front and so that could be the Russian strategy here as well this could just be about tying up Ukrainian units right they know that they’re not going to make large sweeping gains towards harke that said 50,000 troops is a lot of troops for the Russian military and it seems unlikely that this is part of just kind of a delaying action so when we look over here this is where things get even more interesting right 5 hours ago the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed it established control over boriska oeri platina PNA and STA and you could see uh that these are all the kind of The Villages that operate on the border regions here um but uh again it remains contested ukrainians in turn claim that they’ve stabilized the situation and that Russia doesn’t actually hold control here now you could see again Russian forces looking like they’ve crossed this this uh forested area here in an attempt to sees um ohir se but again it’s not really clear uh if these are mutually supporting efforts right Russia hasn’t claimed control over hat and so it do they have this area controlled this this uh you know controlling either side of the donets it’s really unclear this is a fast developing situation um but I think for Russian forces uh they likely do want to establish his foothold here and for Ukrainian forces their primary goal is to contain the Russian uh breach and to inflict enough casualties that Russia is unable to really achieve their ultimate objective of harke again 50,000 troops you’re not going to be able to hold these handful of villages um not with current Ukrainian strategy that relies so much on deep strikes right because you know that Ukrainian forces generally don’t do a ton of disruptive attacks in Russian Russia proper instead they are much more likely or at least Ukraine the aid they receive the weapons they receive um they have a much broader mandate to use them inside Ukrainian Sovereign territory and so I think they may sit there and say Hey listen we actually don’t we want the Russians to come into these Villages so that they can be targeted uh with our weapon systems um but again how worried am I that this is going to be some kind of big stunning breakthrough I am not that worried um not yet anyway I haven’t seen anything that looks like a a big Russian breakthrough again their rate of gain seems uh slower even than their big breakthrough in Ultra datina uh which again tied up a lot of their forces and contained a lot of Russian uh or occupied a lot of Russian units anyway guys that’s all I want to cover   4. Not sure if I live in Stupid-land, but wasn't that the same place the Pro-Ukrainain Russians was attacking Belgorad (Region) from… Last month, all the media hype about how they were taking (for a short amount of time) Russian border towns in this area.
    Now this month, Russia is on a full blown offensive from these area trying to take Kharvic (Region).
    Smh.. literally f*ck this war because, Youtube and media channels are only milking it for views and likes gaslighting their viewers… Clearly Ukrianie is losing more than than they are gaining at the moment.. but at this time I'm not trusting sht about this war.. both frimom Western, opposing or opposing media until the end Justifies the mean…

    It’s a slow continual advance making sure Russian units are covered by air and EW resources so it’s limited and the design of it is to destroy Ukraines manpower, it’s working every well.

    They have captured more in one day than Ukraines hopeless counter forensics.

  16. They have put in less than 50,000 troops, so they aren't aiming for the Dniepr.
    It is a reshaping attack to move Ukrainian forces North and away from their main attack on Chasiv Yar.

Russia attacked with a force of 55 thousand max on two fronts in Kharkiv Not enough forces to take a city of over 1 million population In Avidiivka they have over 120 thousand troops for a population of less than 30 thousand. Logic dictates this could be to spread Ukraine defenses along the border of contact. Also your trap yesterday Russia did not fall for that they went around and avoided crossing the lakes. Logic again dictates Russia would do that.

  38. So. I am wondering how long it will be before Russia decides to allow all of America to get a taste of "War". In a limited strike against the continental U.S.A., for instance Los Angeles and Kansas City how long before 5 million armed Americans march on Washington? About 2 days.
    How many high ranking Generals and members of the CIA and NSA sit during the morning security briefings and watch the Commander in Chief ( Mr. Joe Biden) continually napping?
    I know. America has safe guards in place so that in fact a monkey could govern America. Or a single cell Amoeba although communication with same has proven stressful.
    Sure would be nice if these 90 year old politicians would defect to somewhere else and leave their earnings to pay off the war debts.

  40. Russia has satellites in space they can see everything happening in Ukraine, their second advance is bigger than the last by logic.

  43. Ukraine has comprehensive front line surveillance, along with enough actionable intelligence gathered by western agencies to know what the Russian military is up to. Russia is looking to generate some positive propaganda to foster continued support from the the Russian people. This may be an indication that things are not going so well internally in Russia.
