    And how she seems to get’s arrested twice a week yet never seems to face any punishment.

    Making her a sign for the environment was a huge mistake, her brand now is “dumb girl who has no idea what she protests, just wants attention” – which now harms the climate change cause.

  22. What I have always resented about Thunberg is that she’s doing nothing productive to solve the problems she deems worthy.

    I am not an activist, but have been part of environmental movements since I was six and work now as a policymaker in renewable energy. While she protested and met Obama I studied to do work to get the ball rolling and many more people with me.

    It’s easy to scream on the streets that things must change, but if she really wants to make a difference, why not persue a degree into something relevant and work to help solve the issues you’re now just protesting for.

  29. The protesters were given a dose of pepper spray and moved on, finally. Serves them right for intimidating and threatening a 20 year old singer.

    Protesting to raise concerns about climate change is okay, in other regards you’re pretty often staying on the wrong side.

  37. I ised to like Greta when her whole schtick was the climate. But if she starts becoming an activist for anything and everything… It will dilute her message.

    There is no shortage of suffering on this planet and many many more than the Palestinians that can actually be helped and by using less resources. Yet, these people you don’t see Greta campaign for. Thus it’s not about people, it’s about Greta’s leftist-fantasy and her need for attention when attention for the anti-global warming agenda no doubt is cooling.

    She’s not an authority on Israeli-Palestinian conflict or profiled on this subject, heck she’s not an authority on global warming either. There is NO reason to give her attention.

    Greta is a fabricated celebrity. Her parents are rich and on the first day of her school protest her mom released a book about global warming and you people can decide if she pulled the strings or if it was simply coincidence that a PR-firm attended the first day of her protest. That PR-agency got her a newspaper article and you can guess if further strings were pulled from there. After that green lobby and green politicians jumped on the bandwagons and brute-force Greta. Not only is she no expert on global warming but she’s uncharismatic and undiplomatic and has only served to further polarise the debate and split the divide further. She also failed to bring to light the massive changes that are necessary for the climate goals to be reached.

    Greta is for sheep. Anyone who cheers for Greta or gives her space should legitimately be ashamed.
