State the Location and Time…

You have a better chance of seeing them

  • if you are facing North ??????
  • Edited to Add: See comments below about facing North.
  • Turn lights off in your house and garden – JUST DON'T FALL OVER ANYTHING OR DOWN THE STAIRS!!!!!!!!
  • If it's safe try somewhere with less lights but DON'T GET MUGGED. STAY IN THE CAR!!!@!

  7. At Tara Hill. Other than someone flying an annoying drone, there’s nothing to see. Maybe still too light yet.

  10. Well apparently its visible 20km from me but I’m seeing nothing in Bettystown yet.

  12. North may not be the best direction. In galway last night the most intense view was south

  15. Rumor has it tomorrow night might have another big event, but as usual with the fleeting lights… It’s either happening or not 🤷‍♀️

  17. You can see them in any direction not just North.

    Alot of people said they were better looking south last night.

    Tomorrow night is meant to be a better chance of seeing them than tonight.

  27. Nothing here in south east, looks like it’s heading further north… not looking good

  29. Just back from a walk around Charleville Demesne on the edge of Tullamore, where I saw nothing.

  33. It isn’t necessarily going to be north.

    It was southwest/south/southeast of me last night.

    It follows the magnetic field lines of the planet, not just going north.
