Come on. It’s called flexible work hours and it’s been mainstream in the tech industry for forty years or so.
“Make up the work hours”. C’mon, productivity is down because we don’t need to work 40 hours anymore, and workers know it. Study after study has shown that if you reduce the hours, you still get the same productivity output.
Companies act like they will die if they lose 4 hours a week from an employee.
I’ll be the only one clocking out at 5pm on Friday. Alone in the office playing games.
