Once again it’s amazing to see such support to Israel from Ireland despite the usual rhetoric coming from over there.

The mods of the Irish subreddit are currently deleting any threads about Eurovision, and have pinned a locked one saying ‘fuck eurovision’, so am currently homeless for somewhere to talk about it…

Interesting to see that Portugal only got points from countries where it has a large diaspora: France, Switzerland and Luxembourg
People talk about how Switzerland had nearly no top vote on fanvotes. Yes that sucks and Croatia had the better song imo but Switzerland isn’t a bad winner so I’m “meh” on the result. I’m more bothered about Israel.
16 countries who have no political relation(or even bad political relation), no similar taste in music, a heapful of drama against Israel in ESC and no jury point gave 12&10 points to Israel like all was forgotten. Especially UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Finland are extremely suspicious for these reasons.
So, I voted.. I was advertised that my vote WOULD COUNT, but it seems that with insider info that they rig it so hard and obvious that that promise of televoting is broken… is this not the case of false advertisement and should be looked into by consumer right agencies in europe?
Well, the most obviously politically voted ESC of all time, thankfully it failed to accomplish the goal.

I can’t understand how Norway finished last with Gäte – Ulveham. It was by far the best song in my opinion, no competition. I am shocked.

I would rather watch a wall for 5 hours than Eurovision.
If you break down the political votes, only the supporters could actually vote. It’s simple enough for everyone motivated politically to give 20 votes each. It didn’t come as a surprise at all to me.
I voted for Croatia and Ukraine, glad their public didn’t give Israel any votes.
