  1. I can bet that if they find something, problems will be removed by czechs just to show that they are not hypocrites, but polish government will still do nothing and find different excuses lol

  2. I wonder what do the Poles hope to achieve. It’s not like our government will drop the case against Turów just in exchange for a privately owned mine in Germany. The voters don’t give a fuck about Křetínský’s mine and Křetínský is not as a big deal as Babiš or late Kellner to have the government face the repercussion of losing voters should they abandon the people affected by Turów.

  3. This region is called black traingle(Saxony, Lower Silesia and part of Bohemia) because it was one of the most industrialized parts of German Empire and problems with water were there since century, mainly because of shit ton of opencast mines of coal in both Germany and Poland and Czechia. It is nothing new that regionals want some kind of help but when Czechs have gone to EC to order to pay 500 thousand a day of functioning this mine( first time country seek help in environmental issue from EC) even when Polish gov wanted to resolve it diplomatically between countries, from my and many poles perspective it looks like friendly country just wants to make money on problem that can’t be solved since this mine supplies a power station that produces electricity for 2mln people.
