After two years on the frontline of Ukraine’s war, residents of the Russian border town of Vovchansk have a generous definition of what counts as peace and quiet.
Cross-border skirmishes have been part of life here ever since the invasion started – so much so that most townsfolk barely flinch at the sound of artillery salvoes.
Since Friday, though, what is normally shrugged off as background noise has become a deafening thunder, as Russian forces launch a renewed ground offensive into Ukraine’s north-east.

They must have got nervous after Ukraine has shelled and killed civilians yet again today in Belgorod. It’s sad that local people are so inconvenienced because of the crimes of the Ukrainian army
Gazzeyi görünce ukrayna rusya savaşı fazla lüks ve konforlu duruyor
Isn’t it a nice coincidence that so many cameras happened to be there at this time?
Richard Wagner – Ride of the Hoes.
Russia just captured 110sqkm in little over a day including 12 villages and that operation was a sidenote to what is going on in the Donbas. The collapse of Ukraine is now accelerating.
😅😅😅😅 well edited and produced própaganda, maybe by zelensky

i don't believe anything told by propanganda outlets like the Telegraph. just here to see how far they go in thier propagandas and how brazen they get. not surprised at all. apparently, Ukraine is the victim at dawn, but the victor at dusk. Western "news" outlets spreading unbelievable levels of falsehood.
This situation is given by western country
Chernihiv Oblast (Ukrainian: Чернігівська область, romanized: Chernihivska oblast), also referred to as Chernihivshchyna (Ukrainian: Чернігівщина), is an oblast (province) in northern Ukraine. The administrative center of the oblast is the city of Chernihiv. Within the oblast are 1,511 settlements. Population: 959,315 (2022 estimate).[3]
The total area of the province is around 31,900 km².
On the west, the oblast is bordered by the Kyiv Reservoir of the Dnieper River and Kyiv Oblast, which has a enclave known as Slavutych, which was created from Chernihiv Oblast for the inhabitants of Chernobyl following the Chernobyl disaster. It is bordered by Sumy Oblast to the east and Poltava Oblast to the south. The northern border of the oblast is part of Ukraine's international border abutting Belarus's Gomel Region in the north-west and the Russian Bryansk Oblast in the north-east, respectively.
The oblast is bisected into northern and southern sections by the Desna River, which enters the Dnieper just north of the Kyiv city limits.

The Russo-Polish War of 1654–1667, also called the Thirteen Years' War,[4] Muscovite War of 1654-1667[5] and the First Northern War,[4] was a major conflict between the Tsardom of Russia and the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Between 1655 and 1660, the Swedish invasion was also fought in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and so the period became known in Poland as "The Deluge" or Swedish Deluge.
The Commonwealth initially suffered defeats, but it regained its ground and won several decisive battles. However, its plundered economy was not able to fund the long conflict. Facing internal crisis and civil war, the Commonwealth was forced to sign a truce. The war ended with significant Russian territorial gains and marked the beginning of the rise of Russia as a great power in Eastern Europe.

Little Russia Governorate[a] or Malorossiya Governorate was an administrative-territorial unit (guberniya) of the Russian Empire that encompassed most of modern-day northeastern Ukraine, then given the historical designation of Little Russia, and adjacent regions in Russia.
The Governorate was formed in 1796 under the administrative reforms of Paul I which abolished the viceroyalty (namestnichestvo) system, which in turn replaced the regimental administration of the Cossack Hetmanate in 1781. This placed the Kiev Viceroyalty (excluding the city of Kiev itself), Novgorod-Seversky Viceroyalty and Chernigov Viceroyalty under the new unit. The administrative centre was the city of Chernigov (Chernihiv).
However, the extensive area which the new unit covered was too great for effective administration, and in February 1802 the Governorate was split into Chernigov Governorate and Poltava Governorate.

Ukraine is Winning Day By Day
Little Russia (Russian: Малороссия/Малая Россия, romanized: Malorossiya/Malaya Rossiya; Ukrainian: Малоросія/Мала Росія, romanized: Malorosiia/Mala Rosiia), also known in English as Malorussia, Little Rus' (Russian: Малая Русь, romanized: Malaya Rus; Ukrainian: Мала Русь, romanized: Mala Rus), Rus' Minor[citation needed] (from Greek: Μικρὰ Ῥωσία, romanized: Mikrá Rosía), and the French equivalent Petite Russie, is a geographical and historical term used to describe Ukraine. Since 1334, Yuri II Boleslav, the ruler of the Ruthenian Kingdom of Galicia–Volhynia, signed his decrees Natus dux totius Russiæ minoris,[1] but the expression μικρὰ Ρωσσία is found as early as 1292, in the Byzantine writer Codinus.[2] The distinction between "Great" and "Little" Rus' probably originated among Byzantine, Greek-speaking clerics who wanted to separate the two Ruthenian ecclesiastical metropolises of Halych and Moscow.[3]
Any land seized by the incoming army, has no strategic value , I heard that talk before!

Flight of the Russian Ka-52 helicopter at a height of 2 meters
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9FFQBOxbPc
Footage of the Russian Ka-52 helicopter piloting at ultra-low altitude has been published. Judging by the instruments, the helicopter flies at a height of 2-3 meters with a speed of about 220 km/h. When flying at extremely low altitudes, it is necessary to continuously maintain visual orientation and constantly monitor the earth's surface and obstacles on it, which practically eliminates the possibility of using counting and measuring instruments.
