  1. What’s the alternative?

    Contain Hamas in Rafah for…ever?

Let them return to every corner of Gaza and clash with the IDF randomly among civilians?

Withdraw the IDF completely and have Hamas return to power and preparing for the next Oct 7?

    Seriously, what’s the alternative?

  2. I don’t think that General Blinken knows that when Israel was in control of Gaza 20 years ago, life on both sides of the border was better.

I doubt Israel would want to control Gaza again, but if they did, they certainly are capable.

In short, Blinken doesn’t know what he is talking about .

  3. Well at least USA knows what they are talking about

  4. It’s alarming how much pull Dearborn seems to have over this administration.

Finish off Hamas. Get an international coalition together afterwards to rebuild.

  5. Meanwhile Hamas leaders sitting fat and happy in Qatar…

  6. I want to hear what our military leaders have to say about the conflict. What is Israel supposed to do? I’m a huge advocate of countries defending and counterattacking, but if they’re handling things poorly I would want to know a *professional’s* opinion on what they should be doing differently.

  7. That makes no sense at all. That being said, even anarchy would be better than having Hamas in charge.

  8. This makes sense unfortunately. As much of a tough pill it is to swallow, if Israel can show that they can take good care of as many Palestinian civilians in their evacuation zones then it might help soften their image and make it easier for the expansion of Arab-Israeli normalisation as there is the general public sentiment of the region that they have to win over too. Right now, their image as Goliath is a double edged sword that also stokes radicalisation within the region…and unfortunately around the world.

  9. Theyre currently firing rockets from Rafah, anarchy is an improvement.

  10. If we learned anything from the American experience in Afghanistan and Iraq, it’s that killing innocent people doesn’t result in peace. But, if your aim is to perpetuate hatred and reprisals, and a guarantee of continued full employment for the military-industrial complex, that’s an effective way to get there.

  11. Well it’s kinda hard to differentiate Hamas from the civilians when the civilians are also Hamas…

  12. IDF doesn’t want to eliminate Hamas just kick out the Palestinians and annex Gaza.

  13. Then I want to hear what his plan is to return the hostages and eliminate Hamas. Because so far I’ve only heard “don’t” .

  14. Biden has failed in every foreign policy that involves military.
    Afghanistan pull out.
    Ukraine Russian War.
    Israel Hamas war.
    Israel Iran War.
    South China sea conflict.
Losing more footage in Sub-Saharan Africa.

  15. What happens in Rafah is on Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and Iran.

    Fuck around and find out.

  16. Please give Gaza to Ireland, South Africa or anyone else who said they care about Palestinian.

  17. The only thing this war has done is create a whole new generation of Hamas.

  18. “Hamas could surrender and release the hostages, and this war will end in the next hour”

This is the ONLY thing anyone should say, again and again, instead of focusing on Israel’s actions.

  19. Anarchy like throwing up the horns and writing A with a circle, or like a place devoid of the rule of law, which it appears Gaza has had for a good while anyway?

Fuck Hamas either way. Good luck, Israel!

  20. Nothing is going to stop the Israelis from achieving their objective. They can’t palaver endlessly with Hamas when they got Hezbollah and a dogs’ breakfast going on in the West Bank. Fucking Israelis are responsible here, but Hamas sure as fuck don’t care about Palestinians as much as they should either. Shame on combatants that put civilians at risk.

  21. Oh, yes, more antisemitic defenders of Islamic terrorism… *Checks notes* The US government…
