1. Gazproms ability to bankroll the war has already waned, Putin bleeding it dry now

3. Fewer Gazprom profits means less money for R&M, which means less long-term hydrocarbon output. That’s the beginning of vicious cycle.

   In war, you do not create problems for your enemies–you create dilemmas. Taxation vs. Production is certainly a dilemma.
