According to the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, its warriors shot down a Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter.
It is noted that *the cost of each such helicopter is $16 million.*
I would be more interested in whether the pilots were killed, as it would be easier to replace a hardware than experienced pilots.
Slap these mosquitos out of the sky

The first couple of mouths, when when there was a couple of videos every week of spectacular shot downs of helicopters, was wild! But still every one shot down warms my heart.
Jolly good.
Me so happy
Could they not put a big shed type contraption over it. Not the top bit as that would mess up the rotors but on the sides and below. It would have to be light though so perhaps a plastic of aluminium shed thing. So it could be a turtle helicopter? B and Q (hardware chain) in the UK do them quite cheaply in a range of colours, I know Russia would find it difficult to buy from the UK, but I am guessing shed technology is not unknown to them.
Dammit, I already cleared my bingo card.
Unfortunately Ukraine also lost some helicopters a few days ago due to an iskander strike.
Every tank, helicopter, jet, missile, soldier, apc… that is taken out is one less tool that russia has to use to wage war.
