Can you guess the two countries which changed their way of calculating gross wages and hence the relative change indicator for them is rather misleading? Eurostat doesn’t even bother to leave a note on that.
This doesn’t take into account hours worked. To earn that wage in Ireland, you need to work 39 hours/week, yet a French person would need to work 35 hours, a German 38 hours etc.
