Hard to believe, but some things are dropping in price. In 2024, we are seeing a change, where prices on a few things are actually down a bit. What we found in the government’s latest Consumer Price Index data might surprise you.

1. It’s going to be mostly electronics the amount of pulled forward demand during the pandemic on home appliances and electronics was huge. Companies then overproduced and now need to drop prices to entice consumers. 

2. Basically, anything that can be produced in highly automated factories is coming down, but grabbing a burger and a beer IA prohibitively expensive.

   Maybe this just becomes the ways things are. A new fridge gets to be almost a disposable appliance while a night at a restaurant is a commitment.
