Bild:Tuchel staying now an option again & being discussed within the club. After all the rejections FCB bosses are now reconsidering their decision. FCB are currently not working concretely on any of the remaining candidates. From those close to Tuchel, it is said the coach is not closed to any idea

  1. Tbh he doesn’t strike me as a resentful guy who would turn down the offer if we asked him to continue but I don’t know if this would be the best option. But I also don’t really know which other decent options are realistically available for us – Flick, De Zerbi, Mourinho? All don’t feel like a big upgrade to Tuchel

  2. The way they put it forward – “after all the rejections” makes it even more promising than it already is.

  3. According to reports, most of our key players including Neuer Muller Kane and Musiala spoke out in favor of him staying.

Let’s be honest … he’s much better than the alternatives currently on the market. His top transfer for a CDM was botched at the finish line and he had to navigate a season with unprecedented injuries and came in second behind competitor who is undefeated.

  4. Please yes, I’m biased because I love Tuchel, but even for Tuchel haters, the current options (now that even Flick is off) are not better than Tuchel, and with a deeper squad it’s guaranteed we will see better performances and more attacking tactics.

  5. Oh my fuck. Honestly, I don’t even care anymore. Fix the gaping holes in the squad and we should be able to perform better than last year. Honestly, we were so close to winning the CL except for slight lapses in concentration despite having so many damn issues all season long

  6. The Hoeneß’ comments haven’t helped and it isn’t ideal for the long-term development of the club most likely, but looking at the way the CL campaign turned out and, especially, how it ended, I could see Tuchel as a “man on a mission”. At this point, I don’t see who’d be a better candidate to try and lead them to the final in Munich.

Of course, keeping the coach you agreed to split ways with after being turned down by multiple others isn’t a good look, but the ship has sailed on that one anyway

  7. I am biased because i suggested Tuchel as the ideal replacement of Pep for continuation of thr foundation that Pep left. So i am biased in that sense, but i dont have any strong feelings on Tuchel otherwise.

I think he is a very very competent tactician who lacks people mamagement skills.

That being said the FO definetely wanted him yk be the fall guy for their own failures. Years of atrocious decisions (eg hiring Ancelotti, hiring Brazzo….) and terrible transfers have caught up. Tuchel gave his assessment of the weaknesses of the squad (eg lack of CDM) but was pretty much waived off – not that these very shortcomings cant be hidden any longer the FO is basically doing a shocked pickachu face and blame Tuchel for the squad being an utter mess.

  8. Honestly after all of the things that have occurred, even with going trophyless, I have no doubt, the massive majority of the fans would be thrilled to have him back. Just get the deal done and lets start planning for the off-season.

  9. Keep digging! We’ll assuredly find the bottom of this shit hole soon!

  10. Tuchel on his way to cash in his rejection oportunity to Bayern.

  11. You guys are getting the full Barca experience this season, without the financial problems ofc

  12. No sane person would stay when treated like this.

  13. The board should never have said he was leaving at the end of season in the first place. They were shown up to be amateurish throwing their toys out of the pram when they had a few bad results.
