‘Lockerroom talk’ is one of the most cynical ideas in our modern politics. Every guy knew a guy in the locker room that talked like that, but we didn’t invite them out on Friday night because they’re a gross embarrassment.

I was a high school wrestler, a rough frame carpenter and a paratrooper – I’ve heard my fair share of “locker room talk” – bragging about grabbing women without their permission is creepy predatory filth! If you spoke like that around me and mine, you’d no longer be invited around our families.
When Trump publicly bragged that he could shoot a completely innocent person and his followers would remain by his side, it’s one of the few times I completely believed him, as he said “it’s incredible” he owns them and he knows it.
