Here’s a memory for you all.

  1. I remember someone didn’t eat their cucumber and the teacher found it not the student and hung it up on a chalk board for weeks and the cucumber became a bag of green water.

  2. Food Dudes was mostly grand for me because my parents made me eat a heap of different fruit and veg. I just watched people having a breakdown trying to eat a carrot. That all changed they day I had to eat a raisin though…

  3. God they were moldy too lol. Our teacher didn’t make us eat them and gave us the free stuff anyway lmao because the stuff was bordering dangerous lmao.

  4. We still do Food Dudes in schools, Rocco, Razz, Tom and… the other character(?) team up against General Junk.

The fruit and veg are *way* more fresh nowadays, and we only ask the kids to try them – if they don’t like them, they put them into the lunchbox to bring home.

Cucumber is the fucking worst though.

  5. I’d eat everything except tomato, and even when I tried to eat the tomato knowing I don’t like them, I still didn’t get my prize, I thought the point of Food Dudes was to at least try but nope because I said that I didn’t like it after I ate it I didn’t get my shitty colouring pencils!
Also my class had a total hatred for raisins and I was the only one who ate them – nearly went into a raisin coma that day.

  6. I don’t know what food dudes is but am I the only one who hates pretty much all fruit (except limes for cooking and kiwis)

I absolutely love vegetables but I cannot stand the sickly sweet taste of most fruits

  7. That shit made me realise I loved cucumber. But the day they forced me to eat peppers and banana for some stupid plastic bottle, I puked in the toilet(Still got that bottle tho)

  8. Can’t be certain due to the faces being pulled but this guy looks an awful lot like someone I was with several years ago.

  9. Ah this brings back memories. It was possibly the least inviting way to present vegetables. The fruit was fine at best, I seem to remember the apples weren’t particularly crunchy and I love a crunchy apple. My worst memory of them was trying to eat raw sticks of turnip that were slightly dried out and probably tasted slightly of the plastic bag they had been in. Raw fucking turnip. I couldn’t stomach it.

  10. I still have a vivid memory of cherry tomato day. Girl in my class absolutely hated them but wanted the prize, so she puts it in her mouth while crying, bites in and starts gagging. The teacher had to tell her to spit it out before she started vomiting

  11. The peppers were diabolical. Gave me an awful headache too. The apples were the most delicious in the world and cold too 😋
