NI is going to end up with a lot of illegal economic migrants then once Ireland start punting theirs back over the border.
At least we can still ship ours out though so we’re good.
This whole thing is so unbelievably messy.
I swear 90% of countries in the world wouldn’t put up with this shite and would have found a solution in 24 hours.
Let them all in! House them, give them access to our health services and ensure they have sufficient spending money to look after themselves.
>The High Court in Belfast on Monday morning ordered the **”disapplication” of sections of the act** as they undermine human rights protections guaranteed in the region **under post-Brexit arrangements**.
A small amount of irony here.
Any undocumented migrants who cannot ID themselves and turn up to the UK should just be fingerprinted, deported to a third country, or the last country they came from, and banned from ever entering the UK again. Job done.
Like with the troubles legacy law, government was warned the Illegal Migration Act would likely be incompatible with the Windsor Framework, ECHR and by extension the GRA. But of course they did not listen.
Let’s send them all to Northern Ireland then instead.
How about instead of this dumb Rwanda idea, we properly fund our border force to properly process claims in a reasonable time?
We’ve got plenty of places to set up housing temporary housing facilities.
So whats the answer here?
Does anyone have a genuine answer how to control this?
Does any political party actually have any way of controlling or organising migration?
Our legal system and asylum legal system is broken even the lawyers defending illegal immigrants to get them status here openly say its not their fault the system is broken.
A cynic would say this is a plan to get migrants onto the island of Ireland before they switch it up and cause then to go into the republic.
