What we’d like to happen: AI-controlled robots armed with tasers patrolling the area and shocking anyone who misbehaves, as well as the occasional random innocent passer-by, just to keep everyone on their toes.
What will actually happen: A fifteen-minute delay in the live footage so that a single civil service worker can review it and blur out anything objectionable, which of course means the portal will only operate for 37 hours per week, and will be turned off entirely on weekends, public holidays, and whenever said employee goes on leave.
Once again DCC proves far less competent than the average randomer when it comes to planning anything out or spotting the obvious issues.
They going to move it out to Crooksling now so?
The whole portal idea is dumb as fuck and a waste of money. But the decision to put it on Talbot St was beyond braindead.

Republic Of Telly used to do a segment years ago where they’d put a camera in different towns overnight to see how people behaved — it had the same results, people flashing their arses and making a show of themselves for their own entertainment.
