woo don’t live the king it was a display of the kind of Monarch he wants to be made even clearer in the months that followed supporting communities is it electric do you know the electric yes all environmentally friendly don’t worry highlighting the climate crisis real action is required to stem the growing toll of its most vulnerable victims celebrating culture and getting out to the Commonwealth then this happened Buckingham Palace has just released a statement about the health of the king diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer a setback with public engagements cancelled but not entirely stopping him Christina murin from the king’s charitable Foundation told me they have still regularly been in contact his level of interest in still getting updates and hearing what was going on and and what wanting to to to know that the work of the foundation was still progressing was very important to him lovely lovely to see him back out this week though engaging with the public um and you know really being able to to drive those causes that he caused so passionately about his illness has had another unexpected impact on those campaigning out again a year on but with a slight change of TAC a broader message of down with the crown replacing not my king what it is about saying we here and we are growing and we are making progress we’re seeing a drop in the polls for uh the monarchy we’re seeing a growth in the polls for the opposition we saw a poll yesterday in Scotland saying most people want to get rid of the monarchy so yeah it’s uh it’s all uphill for us public support was never a given for King Charles exactly one of the reasons he wanted to make the palace feel more open thank you very much the queen in recent months playing host Al winning praise for stepping up as well as continuing her own work on things like sexual violence I can only imagine her role has changed drastically in the last year but the fact that she has still kept to her passion I just think shows what dedicated person that she is this week we saw him back to work he wants to do as much as he can but with his treatment ongoing is the doctors who are going to decide from Miles goodness attempt to read it that mys the writing was always going to be small every moment from their coronation written down and no doubt forever etched on their minds as they continue the work that they hope will really Define their moment in history ran on Mills Sky News

There have been a series of events to mark the first anniversary of the King’s Coronation.

In London, there were two gun salutes – a 41 gun salute at Green Park and a 62 gun salute from the Tower of London.
