  1. I feel like a broken record saying this, but Israel, particularly under Netanyahu, is an albatross around our necks.

  2. Israeli settlers are terrorists and the US should halt all aid to Israel until they are dealt with since the settlers have been a major obstacle to any 2 state solution since they keep expanding further and further into the West Bank.

Glad that his administration is finally getting caught up but we might have been able to prevent unnecessary deaths if we had a president that was willing to take a stance against unchecked violence towards Palestinians.

    It’s quite clear there will never be peace anytime soon. Israelis clearly don’t want peace and there’s overwhelming support for the ongoing war and the concentration camps reported a few days ago by CNN confirms the IDF are happy torturing Palestinians civilians and refusing to allow aid into Gaza. Conflict breeds more conflict and sows hatred in the heart, this conflict will last a long time unless America decides to defund Israel completely and let them stand on their own 2 feet. Then they may realise that progressing peace talks might actually be in their benefit.

  31. I’ve said it before, and no I don’t mean all Israelis, but damn have they really embraced the mindset of a certain group who wanted/wants to eliminate them.

    I don’t pretend to believe it’s easy to live next to people who have been taught to hate you and you’ve been taught to hate with a never ending war but when you start turning into a population willing to do this, to feed starving people, children, you stop being the victim. I guess it just shows how close we all are to being decent or evil.

  32. Do something then? School teachers punish their students when they misbehave more than the US punished Israel.

  33. We should cut Israel off from all aid until those monsters are arrested (or that they will be). Frankly, people will die because of their action, but I’m guessing getting murder charges to stick is too steep a hill to climb.

    We should also sanction any company looking to profit from stork Palestinian land, especially Kushner.

  34. The only way Netanyahu stays out of prison due to his corruption is to continue this war until there is no Gaza, and then he will find a way to justify the war spreading to the West Bank. Retaliation for the Hamas attacks was justified full stop. What is happening here is everything Hamas wanted–there are now no Gaza citizens who will feel any sympathy or empathy for any future Hamas attacks against Israel. This is also what Irgun I mean Likud wants–perpetual war keeps Irgun I mean Likud in power.

  35. Theyve been doing this for months. The settlers blocking/attacking aid trucks going into Gaza is part of the reason aid wasnt getting in.

  37. How do we know these are settlers and not just regular Israelis? Did someone follow each one to and from a settlement? “Settler” implies these are extremists from outside of Israel proper and allows Israel save face. These are Israelis who acted under the supervision of the state with impunity. This was an action sanctioned by the government because their forces were there and took no action to stop it.
