I bloody hope it won’t be the same. I am saving a lot of money and time thanks to home working.
Epochal change.
The world will never be the same after Covid.
It’ll be similar, but not the same.
The same as the world after 9/11, after the Iraq war etc.
Similar but not the same as it was before. That’s just life I guess.
We just don’t know what the new normal will look like yet.
Can’t fathom how people allowed it to affect their lives in anything but the most trivial fashion.
*buy food outlets will close down because more people work from home*
It’s unfortunate but I’m saving a ton of money on petrol and having no commute. Sorry but I’m all for.that
I feel like this is the one true chance that workers in this generation will have to make meaningful change to working culture…
I do fear it won’t really happen though, and I of course wouldn’t blame the workers if it didn’t.
Commuting is soul destroying, a waste of time and bad for communities and the environment. It should be discouraged in general and working from home should always be an option, if preferred, wherever possible. Travel costs are a significant dent in some people’s income, and much of the infrastructure isn’t fit for purpose. Covid has woken many up to how pointless the office is, and it’s time for a rethink.
