  13. Actually, this is how America works and has been working for some time. You pay to play. A billion is nothing to a company that makes $75B per quarter.
    You have to pay Congress as well both R and D or you don’t get to write bills that save you billions. Taxpayers subsidy’s I would call this because it comes from the Treasury

  15. Outside of foul-play, I am really not worried about this man getting elected. I live and work in & around rural Indiana – one of the deepest, darkest parts of Trump country on the planet. There is *no* excitement for this man. We just had our primaries this past Tuesday and Haley got over 20% of the damn vote. It’s a total and stark difference from 2016 & 2020, when every other house in my town had a Trump flag waving somewhere. Now? Literal zero.

    All the hemming and hawing from Republicans about not accepting the election results is laying the groundfloor for rebellion because *they* know they’re fucked. Worry about the immediate aftermath of the election, less the election results themselves. In my opinion. And contingent on everyone actually getting out and voting, of course.

  27. Why? They know nothing will happen. The conclusion of their investigation will change nobody’s mind. Those who are voting for him are going to blindly vote for the person who most resembles the antichrist. Those who were never going to vote for him are still not going to vote for him. Those who are on the fence are not going to let something like putting the presidency up for auction to influence their decision, he has already been proven to be a criminal by his actions and what he has said, but they are still on the fence.

    The probe can find Trump killed 20 babies at the dinner and it would not change anything. He would suffer no consequences from his actions just as he has not faced any consequences for any of his actions.
