  2. A head of a swanky school bemoans the lack of opportunities afforded her, because of her skin colour… despite being head of the school? What am I missing?

    One stat in isolation can be used to show anything.

    What percentage of teachers are from a minority ethnic background? Are BAME people underrepresented in teaching generally? They’re overrepresented in fields like medicine for example.

  4. I dont know what its like internally but a white, male friend is deputy head of a school with a black, female head and some parents, apparently, persistently talk to him like he is in charge.

  5. I’m so glad that the trend of the last decade is starting to reverse.

    These articles keep getting pumped out but it’s rapidly reaching the point where they’re yelling to an empty theatre
