We’re all thinking it

  1. It’s a four year cycle. Other sports people can peak a certain times during the year. We peaked last year in November. There’s absolutely no reason why we cannot peak during the Six Nations this year, and start building again.

  2. If we manage to not fuck up the group, we’ll be facing New Zealand or France in the quarters so chances are very slim that next year is our year to break the curse

  3. Personally I would take a 6 nations.

Ireland has won it so few times, the more we win it the better. The World Cup will look after itself and in reality with either France or NZ in the Quarters our chances of getting to the semi’s is probably the worst ever so win a 6 nations this year and whatever happens next year happens

  4. We’ve got another shites QF draw on the cards so I just want a 6N win to make me extra happy on double paddy’s day, please and thanks!

  5. For the talent the rugby team has had over the past 15 years or so it’s a joke what bottlers we are.

  6. In reality it doesn’t matter how good or how bad our form is heading into a WC, we will bottle it at the quarter-finals.

The only difference is the disappointment amongst the fans and players who expected any different based on how much hype there is around it.
