why are women outside the Old Bailey protesting with their mouths covered well campaign groups are claiming that Clauses and non-disclosure agreements are being misused to gag women suffering discrimination at work because they’re either pregnant or taking maternity leave the reasons are for employers to move on women who are going to be out of the workplace for their maternity leave it’s endemic it’s become standard practice and it’s entirely unethical so what exactly are these protesters calling for today we want to see MDA is banned from being used in cases of bullying misconduct sexual harassment and discrimination ndas have a valuable role but only in the protection of in intellectual property Trade Secrets client confidentiality Etc they are not a tool to be used to hide abuse
