well there were competive scenes as Stormy Daniels again took the stand finishing her Marathon testimony at Donald Trump’s hush money trial where attorneys for the former US president sought to paint her as a greedy liar who profited from her allegations under cross examination the actress denied she’d threaten the Tycoon if he refused to buy her silence our correspondent in New York Jessica Missour has been following those proceedings for us former adult film star stormy Daniels has now finished her second day of testimony in Trump’s hush money trial here in New York hers was without a doubt the most dramatic testimony so far she’s a key witness in the trial which revolves around a $130,000 hush money payment made to her before the 2016 election now Daniels described her alleged sexual encounter with Trump at a golf tournament in 2006 in excruciating detail in the courtroom she included details of how Trump greeted her in satin pajamas and she said the sex was quick and he called her honey bunch the testimony from Daniels appeared to be rather embarrassing for Donald Trump now Trump denies ever having had sex with Daniels and over about four hours of cross- examination on Tuesday and Thursday the defense lawyer tried to point out inconsistencies in her story the main argument from Trump’s lawyer or the argument that Trump’s lawyer appeared to be trying to make was that Stormy Daniels had lied about her alleged affair with Trump and was just trying to make money off the story the defense tried to paint her as a nasty lady uh by showing a response that stormmy Daniels had given two a threatening tweet in which she called the person dumb and then said that she would dance on the streets if Trump were jailed well uh the defense lawyer asked her well you can be nasty right and to that she replied yes now Trump didn’t even Dain to look at her when she left the courtroom on Thursday Trump’s pleaded not guilty to these 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment to stormmy Daniels prosecutors argue that this amounts to election fraud Jessica the Missouri reporting there from New York
