  1. This sounds like a good incentive to promote a healthier lifestyle. But I can’t help thinking that if this was aimed at women, it would be labelled as misogynistic and fat phobic.

  2. Now we understand why there’s no money to fund the police, or build new hospitals! Gov has to stop pissing money down the drain.

  3. “Fat women offered £400 to lose weight, and sent daily texts urging them to “avoid the Krispy Kreme stand and go to the gym””

Yeah. Let’s see how long that would last.

  4. When am I gonna get offered money with texts saying “avoid the cocaine”

  5. “levels of weight loss achieved were much greater than that seen in slimming classes”

This made me laugh, turns out sending people daily texts telling them that they’re fat is an effective method of weight loss. Bullying works.

  6. Some unfortunate parallels with the actual GoT (both books and TV show) there – the author is a Weight Watchers ‘before’ picture and the last season of the TV adaptation was a nosedive because the writers were too busy thinking about Star Wars.

  7. Stones? What year is this?

Better get some running shoes from the cobbler and some new workout clothes from the haberdashery. Just mind that you don’t spend too many shillings and crowns.

  8. I see absolutely no flaws in this, “here’s £400, definitely don’t buy a kebab with it!”, plan.

  9. Why should fat people be offered any money at all? They should receive the texts though.

  10. Why don’t they mention English breakfasts, fish and chips and Greggs?

Funny how you can lay down a 5000-calorie plate with pesticides and nitrates in it, with sausages made from rusk, pigs’ asses and uteruses, and people will lap it up, but a FOREIGN bit of grilled meat is obviously to blame. Toykin are cuntry BACK boy vemoovin’ kebab!

  11. Anyone want to join my fit to fat to fit club? We all gain 15kg then lose it again and get £400.

  12. I’ve never been a fat cunt and I continue to avoid being a fat cunt. Where’s my £400

  13. Here’s a thought: why not spend the £400 on getting them a personal trainer and gym membership?

  14. Maybe throw in a gym membership for free as well. Literally not joking.

  15. Reminds me of that years old post of a guy texting his overweight friend ‘fat fuck’ over and over again for months.

Callous? Sure. But it seemed to be effective from what I remember.

I’d like to think my friends will call me out like that if I ever got into bad habits.
