I think there is a bit of a over reaction to recent events:
In the opening week of the war Russia just drove hundreds of miles into the country, today they struggle to go five miles without huge casualties.
C’mon NYT. NYT ought to be more concerned about their dwindling subscribers who tire of their sensationalist headlines/stories.
Russia IS exploiting this window of opportunity…
