Surprised that anyone would write an article without even a reference to the measures. What are the changes?

  1. I am also finding this a bit puzzling, these are the same measures that were talked about in January. But the puzzling part is the fact that people talked about them in January already as decided, was not the new bellegen akt credit already applied?
Also, on the website of the chd.lu there are some very puzzling documents. They are changing the income levels for subsidies but they mention numbers under revenu “annuel” which tell me they probably mean monthly (annual income of 4500 euros for a single person sounds…low lol) but if they mean monthly some of these numbers are downright…insane. You now qualify for social housing as a family with two kids if your income not counting family allowances is 17k per month. I mean, what’s the point of these tables, how many people could possibly be above that and even glimpse at social housing? I feel they are doubling down on a bunch of erroneous assumptions. The reason they are not selling their social housing is not that people earning 17k didn’t qualify for it previously, it is because people who want/need social housing don’t earn remotely enough to pay 4 percent mortgages on their prices and people who could, dont want it.
