A lot of interesting info which, if true, would debunk some arguments people make about tanks in this war:
The “cages” actually work against Lancet and other AT weapons, so much so that he states they started using it themselves. Not meant for protection against FPVs.
The footages of drones destroying tanks make it seem like its very easy, and that the tank is very vulnerable. As he says, not the case at all; a single tank might need several drone strikes until it’s actually down, and the videos we see are usually the “money shot”.
Ukraine still has some of their original tanks available and operating, and ukranians would rather work with the frames they already know instead of having to relearn how to operate western equipment. They also use trophies.
