[Music] it’s evolving all the time and it’s not something that’s a kind of a destination we all reach together it’s something that we kind of keep discussing and figuring out H how we want our industry in cin to be so I think that this is something that’s you know it’s it’s ongoing the one I always think of is um is the rise of intimacy coordinators I think of it the exact same way as I think of a stunt coordinator a fight coordinator the this is uh it’s it’s an art and it’s part of um building a safe environment just as you would if you were going to have two people you know fight with swords you don’t
The 77th Cannes Film Festival got rolling on Wednesday with a strong day for female representation, including a Meryl Streep masterclass and the leading figure of France’s #MeToo movement. “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig, heading the jury, said that women’s status in the industry was heading in the right direction and welcomed concrete changes like intimacy coordinators on sets.
