7. Did anyone actually read the article? He had zero permission to be in her property, was posing as a fenale delivery driver under another name AND had no injuries. She was home when it happened

16. Ups, usps, and fexex do not allow their drivers to carry firearms and have decades of experience dealing with aggressive dogs. My dad was an ups driver for over 35 years and he talks about carrying distraction toys when he went to an unfamiliar address in case they had aggressive dogs. Other places he knew had aggressive dogs, like a local wrecking yard, and would not enter their property and instead call the owner to come out and get their package.

    I think at the end of the day the real issue is gig workers not being familiar with a “route” and learning the ins and outs of it. Which dogs will bark and jump but are otherwise friendly? Who do you need to call to get safe access to a property? What locations are do not deliver? Why is a location do not deliver?

17. Good! That delivery driver deserves worse than just a lawsuit especially if he wasn’t the one that was suppose to make the delivery. Dude committed fraud as well

18. Ok I guess but what are her damages other than maybe a vet bill and value of the dog if it was an expensive breed?

21. She was expecting a female Instacart driver to come on to her property.  So what was the plan there? She left the dog out. Is that what responsible dog owners do? Leave their dog out to approach complete strangers? I don’t. 

    I do agree that Instacart, DoorDash, Uber etc has a real problem with folks using another’s identity for their account. I would like to them held accountable for that. I suspect this particular guy was an aggressive ahole and got banned and was circumventing that. 

    I also have empathy for those in delivery businesses that are often approached by dogs that may or may not be aggressive/territorial and they shouldn’t have to be mauled before they’re allowed to take action. I’m hoping a spray deterrent is effect but as I’m not in that business, I can’t say.

22. That delivery man should get life in prison alongside Kristi Noem. That dog was probably just coming up to greet him. He had no injuries.
