Telling young people they (briefly) can’t engage in a filthy habit that is rapidly dying out anyway seems like political theater which may do more harm than good.
Instead of raising age they should start banning it for people born after a certain year for example any one born after 2003 should not be allowed to buy one.
Should be 25. Will filter out the fake-ID twerps better.
It’s also more scientifically reasonable if we actually want to protect an individual’s health
