Did I imagine them pulling the funding only yesterday?
Edit: It was Monday.
Pity they had to be shamed into a u-turn. £75k is peanuts for something so important, and I’d really like to think someone in government could’ve worked that out for themselves.
At least the outcome is positive.
I love how they go back 2016 to big up the figure! 795k over 7 years? It’s nothing
Yet again short term funding of important stuff, so next year will we be seeing the same situation

I’m an American, pardon my ignorance; what is the Men’s Shed organization and what do they do?
There was a [recent thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/Scotland/s/ecvV3axyNd) detailing how SMSA had had its funding cut, and many were rightly concerned and also signed the petition to reverse the cut. People will be pleased to hear that the pressure has worked and ScotGov is going to increase funding.
Excellent news.
