  1. This is going to end spectacularly. Assets in football (players) don’t appreciate in value by default, and they didn’t buy those players cheap. This isn’t a video game and Chelsea aren’t conducting this experiment im a vacuum, the other 19 teams in the league are doing their best to improve as well.

    At no point have Chelsea been a bottom feeder for how many years?

    Now I admit their deal to sell Mason Mount to Utd was the best bit of prem league biz in history lol, But apart from that?

  3. But, if you do not know the Net Present Value (NPV) of the investment, the Return on the Investment may be NEGATIVE. Player does not work out, gets injured, not as good as thought.
