1. I’d say the vast majority of my partners have enjoyed choking. None of them have even come close to a “ending in fatal consequences”

   Let’s not mix up consensual choking with murder. I very much doubt she was loving it until she accident died. It sounds like he just murdered her

2. Sexual activities aside. Does anyone else remember when someone burped then hiccuped, stomach contents went into their lungs and they died within minutes? (Pretty sure it was a story in the UK about 30 years ago.)

8. There is no safe way to choke someone. Depriving the brain of oxygen is never good

11. That’s the trouble with seeing sexual kinks in porn when you’re young. You never research how to do it safely, and properly.

12. Choking is a fairly common kink in my experience, and it *shouldn’t* be dangerous if done safely.

    It’s important to have a signal if the choked-party starts to experience distress (tapping your partner multiple times works), and the person doing the choking should be aware enough of the status of the person they’re fucking that their partner isn’t fucking turning blue or falling unresponsive…

    This case absolutely smacks of either murder, or otherwise gross negligence in the bedroom.
