Al Sissi may be an huge asshole, but egypt is one of the last stable nations in north africa. Its in our interest to keep them close.
Where will it pass? Through Libyan or Turkish continental shelf?
We need cheap solar energy from the Sahara.
Good. Secular Middle East countries that do not aspire to be a neighbourhood bully aka “regional power” should be welcome as a partner for Europe.
There’s no doubt in my mind that if we want green energy we’ll need a global electricity grid to match supply <> demand best as possible. Good step in that direction.
