1. The best. He won’t get the recognition because he plays only in Serie A. Prem fanboys would be creaming over “finding a new VVD” if he played in there. Hasn’t put a foot wrong all season. What a shame he was left out of the Brazil squad.

2. He is good but we don’t need to keep him at all cost. If a good offer comes I expect we’ll take it and he won’t be that big a loss in the long run. We’ve recovered from losing much better CBs.

3. I few months back I read that our transfer budget for the summer would be 60mn, which would potentially expand to 100-120 with the World Cup revenue (wasn’t confirmed at that point). So we don’t necessarily have to sell Bremer, for this money plus whatever we get from sales, we can easily buy 3 strong players. 

   Now, the issue is more if the rumors that he can’t play back 4 are true, in this case we should think whether we shouldn’t capitalize at peak value.
