Not that I’m a fan of Russia or Nordstream 2 but the US inference in German affairs should also be criticised. Especially, since American companies also have an interest in supplying us with liquified gas

That is not a great look. Why should the US decide that? To me this just looks like a threat made against a supposed ally if they do not go along wiht the US course of action.
I am not even opposed to stopping the pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine, but that decision is not for the US to make.
