1. Jean Smart is absolutely one of my favorite actors. She knocked it out of the park in “Watchmen.” I have been a fan ever since. Her new series is also great. Her new series “Hacks” is very well written and, of course, acted by her and her co-star.

   My condolences for the passing of her long-time husband.

2. She married the actor that played JD on Designing Women. He was Mary Jo’s love interest on the show.
